First Baking Lesson made Comfy

It was my first baking lesson, so it was good that the trainer was attentive and encouraging. There were plenty of opportunities to get hands on experience. Felt satisfied with the product.

Good, recommended

The class size was about 14 pax. Trainer explained the process specifically. The duration was just nice (probably more time for decorations). Tea break (cakes) were served by the trainers in between the waiting time for the macaroons to be ready for baking. Trainer's assistant was helpful as well.

Excellent, experienced instructor

Very informative and specific instructions.
Managed to make every single person produce great results despite the amount of potential pitfalls this particular food has.
Would definitely recommend this instructor to anyone interested in making delicious baked goods

Great experience for beginners in baking

Everything is great, perhaps the only two suggestion is to install more washing sinks. There were times we had to wait for classmates to finish washing their kitchenware which resulted in some delays in the baking process. Also, one more set of colourings because we had to wait for quite some time before our turn to colour our batters for the rainbow cake.

Not really enjoyed

I brought my daughter who is aged 12 to experience how to bake a cake as a birthday present to her. However, the coach does not look friendly and never cheerful. My daughter found very stressful. Both of myself and my daughter did not really enjoy the baking class.

Challenging for absolute beginners

Cake was nicely completed. But it would be helpful if the recipe could be more detailed. Might not be suitable for someone without any baking experience as there were certain steps which I did it wrongly ( I was later corrected but might be too late).

Easy and Fun

Instruster was clear on the steps, able to experience with hands-on baking of the pastry. Overall a good and fun time spent with new baking skills learnt.

Fruitful & Friendly

Instructor was very clear with her instructions and the environment was clean and good.
She gave us good tips on baking and was very accommodating to first time bakers.
The academy prepared candles on a very impromptu basis after we casually mentioned during the class that we are attending today's session for my friend's birthday.
Overall a great experience!

Highly recommended for beginners

Shiny is a very gentle and patient lady. This course is good for beginners like myself as it teaches you from even learning how to measure ingredients. Good hands on experience and I look forward to more classes from her.

Fondant Cake decoration

Once again Thank you so much again Shiny for a wonderful class in fondant cake decoration now im confident in making my own fondant cake. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, tips & tricks on how to make it, i just need to do some practise to master the skill. She also never fail to give us her own made delicious cake for refreshment. Good instructor and very conducive learning

I learnt a lot of baking tips from Shiny and she is very patient in teaching us. She is willing to share baking tips and is very open to questions.
Despite in a home setting, the learning room "kitchen" is very professional, clean and neat. Safe and friendly environment.

Soft Buns

Easy to follow recipe & good tips!

The recipe provided is easy to follow with good tips provided by Shiny during the hands on session of making the macarons. I definitely have more confidence to make my own batch very soon and the decorating part was fun too! She also served us with delicious red velvet cupcake for refreshment which was delicious! Thank you imparting your knowledge, Shiny!
