The Write Tribe
The Write Tribe specialises in both Composition Writing and English Mastery classes for both primary and secondary students. Based on the MOE curriculum, our courses are EXAM PREPARATION classes with a practical approach in helping students gain mastery over the English Language and Writing. Over the years, our students have done exceptionally well for both PSLE and O-levels. We offer both ONLINE and OFFLINE lessons from Primary 1 to Secondary 5.
Online Classes
Utilising interactive technology, we make online education hassle free. There is no need to print or take pictures of worksheets. Not only does your child get weekly LIVE lessons, you get weekly
feedback and marked worksheets sent straight to your mobile phone. Also, your child gets interactive E-assessment books on various aspects of the English Language.

Our regular online programmes
Primary 3/4 Creative Writing Classes (2 hrs)
Build the foundation for PSLE Compositions. Students are immediately started on the 3 picture composition format, taught what PSLE markers are looking for and equipped with a strong
foundation in vocabulary.
Primary 5/6 PSLE Creative Writing Classes (2 hrs)
This is an EXAM PREPARATION COURSE where students write compositions every week. The scripts are marked by our in-house PSLE markers who give an objective analysis on where the student stands based on the rubics. Popular PSLE topics (including situational writing) are covered in the syllabus and students have a clear idea of what a marker expects from them.
PSLE English Mastery Tuition Classes (1.5 hrs)
Suitable for Primary 5 and 6 students, these exam-orientated classes cover various components of paper 2. Each week students are taught tips and strategies on how to tackle each component
whether it is cloze passages, synthesis + transformation or open-ended comprehension. Our notes cover common question types, good examination habits and how to answer to milk the maximum
scores.
Secondary Essay Writing Classes (2 hrs)
We have classes for both lower (Sec 1/2) and upper sec (3,4,5). Our essay writing classes are suitable for those sitting for N and O-levels. We cover all common topics – reflective/argumentative/narrative/personal recount/situational etc. Our classes aim to give
an all-round approach on how to tackle each type of essay.
Secondary English Tuition Classes (2 hrs)
We have classes for both lower (Sec 1/2) and upper sec (3,4,5). Our classes prepare students for both N and O-level. These classes cover every component of the exam paper – Editing/Visual Text/Section B comprehension/Section C comprehension and Summary Writing techniques.

PSLE Composition Marking Package
Our in-house PSLE markers mark your child’s compositions and give an objective analysis, along with tips and strategies on how to score better. Each session covers 1 composition topic.
PSLE Exam Review Marking Package
Are certain areas within the ENGLISH PAPER 2 pulling down your child’s score? We have split the various components of paper 2 into mini programmes. Instead of doing paper after paper, your child can now focus on areas of weaknesses, learn from his/her mistakes, apply techniques and improve quickly. Our mini programmes cover vocabulary MCQ, Synthesis + Transformation, Cloze passages etc.
