The Lumen Room is a unique hybrid studio for dance and photography. It is strongly supported by dance enthusiasts who bring their sense of fun, health consciousness and appreciation of the arts to the table (or rather the floor).

Dance Classes

We work with excellent and experienced instructors to offer classes and workshops such as Argentine Tango (elegant!), Flamenco (fiery!) and AcroYoga (fun!). Check out our dance and wellness activities.

We are always looking to offer other interesting dances (or dance-related activities) in the studio and welcome hearing from potential dance teachers/organisers. If you are interested, please drop us an email at: admin@thelumenroom.com.sg.

Milonga

Our very popular Tangopura Milonga (Argentine social dance gathering) is held every Tuesday evening from 9.00pm-11.30pm (ok, we admit we often bow to dancers’ pressure to extend the closing time) as well as on selected Saturdays from 9.30am-1.30am (well, we have this more often ON than not). Entrada: $10.

Dance Shoes for Sale

For dancers, we offer a selection of ladies heels (new and pre-loved – since dance shoes can be very expensive), men’s dance shoes as well as dance trainers(men/women) for sale. Contact us to arrange to view the selection at the studio.

Commercial Photography Services and Workshops

We have an in-house photographer who would be happy to offer commercial photography services. We also partner Poisonous The Premium Photography Store to offer photography equipment for sale. For photography beginners or buffs, you may want to check out our regular photography workshops as well.
