Based in the sunny island of Singapore, where we're seeing an epidemic resurgence of all things crafty, The Imperial Smithster is here to satisfy your craving for all things bespoke. We have made it our soul purpose in life to supply all budding craftsmen/underpaid apprentices/students/old birds with custom metal castings.

Using a wide variety of techniques such as lost wax casting/red sand/techniques-that-shall-not-be-named, we're able to provide you with custom made metal hardware/sculptures/jewellery at lightning speeds and low minimum order quantity. We're able to cast in all sorts of metal and subsequently have them in a finishing to your liking (electro-plated, brushed, matte, high-shine, hammered...)

Hands-on Approach

Participants have the opportunity to apply their skills immediately by crafting a silicon mold, and perfecting their pieces through cutting and filing. Johnny was also very friendly and insightful.

suuuuuuper fun!!

Johnny (i hope i got the name right) was our teacher and he is very clear of his directions and what he want to do and teach us. He's very patient in teaching us the various steps and doesn't hesitate to share with us his own journey in metalworks. Totally don't regret coming, it's a super fun craft that i will totally do again next time!

Lesson is nice and fun

Instructor is very knowledgeable and informative. Casting is also fun to do. However, would benefit from having a better lesson structure/curriculum.

Interesting Experience

Johnne was super open to sharing his knowledge about his suppliers, the industry, and processes in general. As a jewellery maker who works with silver and dabbles in a whole slew of materials, knowing how to make my own moulds has has helped me up my game. I haven't been able to figure it out through youtube videos, so this really really helped!
