Founded in 2008 by Kuik Swee Boon, The Human Expression Dance Company (T.H.E) has progressed quickly to become one of the most seminal Singaporean as well as South East Asian contemporary dance companies in recent years. Our works attempt to expose different dimensions of the human condition; to highlight the minute, intricate but nevertheless important details that often go unnoticed in a contemporary age that moves with blinding speed.

T.H.E has performed at most major local arts and dance festivals including the Singapore Arts Festival and Esplanade da:ns Festival. In addition, our highly successful world tours have brought us to neighbouring countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as international destinations – France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Korea, China and the UAE.
