About The Chefs Hatchery

The Chefs Hatchery is a baking and culinary school catering to the budding baker as well as the seasoned chef. Our classes are divided into Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels that focus on equipping you with skills and techniques rather than simply teaching you a bunch of recipes. It is the hope of our team of certified instructors that you will leave our classroom with the essential know-how to whip up gorgeous bakes which are not only tasty, but look professionally made.

We focus on quality rather than quantity, and as such, our classes are kept small — a maximum of 12 pax for Basic, 10 for Intermediate and 8 for Advanced classes. This allows for less distraction and more interaction with the instructors. Each student will be provided with their own set of tools and individual stations so as to enable an optimal hands-on experience. We have equipped our kitchen with both a deck oven and a home oven so as to ensure our students will be able to replicate their successes at home.

We offer classes for all levels: the closet bakerlooking to perfect their sourdough breads,the creative pâtissier who wants to brush up on decorating techniques such as piping and gumpaste flowers, the self-taught intermediate chef who wants to elevate their skills. Most of our classes are one-day classes, with the occasional half-day sessions and two-day programmes. You’ll go home with recipes, the baked goods you have made and most importantly, the knowledge and mastery to reproduce them at home.
