Lessons involved a wide range of fun and challenging activities (eg singing songs, listening comprehension, games, and conversations) - the teacher was endlessly resourceful in devising ways for us to more effectively learn. Her patience, constant encouragement and extensive knowledge of Mongolian culture also made the classes both informative and enjoyable.

Learning an uncommon foreign language like Mongolian can be daunting at the start, particularly because Mongolian sounds so different from the languages we are used to. However, the teacher made every lesson really fun and interesting! We got a lot of practice speaking Mongolian and even singing Mongolian songs! She also told us bits of cultural dos and don'ts, which are really important!! It was very much like an adventure as she gave us a glimpse of life in Mongolia and the breadth of the beauty of Mongolia. Thank you so much, багшаа (teacher)!!

The class completely defied my expectations of what learning Mongolian would be like. Lessons were taught in an unconventional manner (through games, songs, and real-life conversations), which made for a very practical and engaging experience. There was also a good balance between the pace of every lesson and its content. The defining part of the course, the teacher, was herself a passionate and colourful character. She had many personal insights about the local culture to share, and these occasionally helped to highlight nuances in the language. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to attain a basic level of Mongolian.
