Moving beyond finger paints, crafts, and colouring of pictures, Lil’ Palette is a New York-inspired preschool art curriculum providing young children with an exposure to famous artists, art movements, and various art mediums. In other words, a preschool art appreciation programme.

This programme is founded on the premise and belief that young children should be taught to think and to express their own opinions based on keen observations. By encouraging them to analyse and discuss art, visual literacy skills are honed while building their awareness for things around them. Lil’ Palette provides this avenue for children to thrive in a holistic learning environment by supporting main-stream education through the discussion of paintings, art styles and sensorial experimentation.
