I have studied and play bass for 4 years now and have achieved grade 8 in rock and pop bass. My teaching methodology is to lay a solid foundation on getting comfortable around the bass and basic theory, followed by understanding the role of a bassist before going onto other aspects of bass playing such as slapping and soloing.
