Julie Baking Lab


Julie baking Lab is a cosy studio which conduct Hands-on and Demo classes in small group. If you can't attend the classes dates, you can request for another class date if you have minimum 2 persons. We also run private parties and Team-bonding events at very reasonable prices.

Julie is also currently teaching in ToTT and Redman Studio as a guest chef. An ex-Home Economics Teacher, spent much of her childhood helping her Nonya grandmother make Nyonya pastries for sale and also cooking for her big family on weekends. Her cooking and baking styles are greatly influenced by her grandmother, who relies mainly on fresh ingredients and heritage recipes. Passionate in experimenting with more efficient ways to cook traditional dishes, Julie also enjoys fusing different baking techniques to churn out new recipes.

She contributes recipes periodically to Lianhe Zaobao under Da Jia Chu Fang column for the Chinese readers. Her recipe book, "Peranakan Snacks & Desserts" are available in major bookstores.
