Ideal first projects include flowers, snowflake decorations, Christmas baubles, hair pins or hair bands, broaches, bookmarks or earrings.

Tatting is a lace believed to be developed by sailors in the 1800s and became very popular in Victorian England and the rest of Europe in the early 1900s. Originally used to decorate the dresses/tables, as weddings gifts and for babies today it's a popular way to make striking jewelry, decorations, book markets and beautiful gifts.

Students will need to bring 2 tatting shuttles & 2 balls of thread (approx DMC size 8 or slightly larger). These can be purchased by the lesson teacher for S$15 - please let us know in advance.
