In the year 2000, Far East Gem Institute opened its doors to professionals, jewellers and gem enthusiasts to an unparalleled opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience. Since then, we have trained staff from many reputable jewellery companies including Chopard, BVLGARI, Tiffany & Co., LEE HWA Jewellery, On Cheong Jewellery and Poh Heng. We also have doctors, lawyers, I.T. professionals, media professionals and members from the general public attending our courses.

We have invited internationally recognized institutes such as GIA for a Pearl Seminar in 2005, HRDAntwerp for a Diamond Seminar in 2009 and Prof. Dr. Henry Hanni from Switzerland for a three-day workshop on Diamonds, Rubies & Sapphires and Pearls in 2010. This is because we believe that education should always be updated with new industry discoveries/development around the world.
