Established in 2014, Eight Tones was founded by local Singaporean musicians, for musicians. Eight Tones Music offers specialized curriculums that are extensively thought out by accomplished musicians in their respective fields so as to bring out the student’s greatest potential, making classes fun and effective.

Lessons are taught at our music school either individually or in small groups.

Chinese Instrumental Courses: Erhu. Guzheng, Pipa, Dizi, Guqin, Ruan, Liuqin, Hulusi, Xiao.

Here at Eight Tones Music, not only do we sell traditional Chinese instruments and accessories, we also provide performances, instrument rental, setup, repairs, and restorations services.

Eight Tones Music seeks to nurture the innate musicality within everyone; develop their ability to create and play music whilst encourage music sharing.

Chinese music is increasingly becoming a mainstay in mainstream Singapore as people seek to find a cultural footing. As such, Eight Tones Music aims to engage with like-minded individuals, young or old to nurture their passion. We strive to foster a community where music lovers can interact and gain insight to this art.
