At brave new worlds, we want to make kids better thinkers through art. We use our unique 5E Approach in conjunction with Harvard Project Zero’s Visible Thinking Routines to navigate our kids through each philosophical theme, allowing them to develop critical and creative thinking skills as they express their ideas in an art project. Our regular class module is 5-10 weeks long to allow kids to conduct research and experiment with different ways of thinking, using art to represent their learning. All this is documented in a personal process journal, culminating in a unique art project. Our class sizes start with a min. of 2 kids and are capped at a maximum of 6 kids to optimise learning. We also run short-term art camps for kids to be engaged in critical thinking during the school holidays.
