Xynn picked up beauty essentials quite by chance and at a more mature age. She started off working in corporations after graduating from NUS but her love for all things beautiful inspired her to pick up knowledge and skills in beauty therapy. Since then, she has acquired professional certifications in WSQ Provide Facial Treatment and WSQ Design and Apply Make Up. She later upgraded to the Professional Makeup Artistry Diploma from Carrie International Academy and lately she has acquired the renown ITEC diploma in beauty specialists. This ascertain her professionalism to include skincare and makeup and manicure and waxing as well. Cynthia is also a qualified WSQ trainer having acquired ACTA in 2010.

Experience wise, she has worked for salons providing facials, haircare and makeup. She has also started to offer community service in proving makeup for charity events.
