Art Out Of Black is a teaching studio at the green and breezy Phoenix Campus. Art classes are for all abilities and are mainly for adults and teenagers. The classes give genuine foundational learning (mainly working from life rather than photos) so that students really get a real sense of tone and the layering of colour. All classes are structured to help students begin their art journey, build confidence and encourage new ways of seeing, and for established artistsprovide a nourishing space in which to experiment with new materials or techniques further.

In addition to foundation and advanced classes, Art Out Of Black holds various speciality workshops such as life drawing, Pop Art, Gold Leaf, encaustic, illustration and watercolour.
