The ARAB ASSOCIATION SINGAPORE, also known as Al -Wehdah Al-Arabiah Bi Singhafura, became an officially registered voluntary organisation (Registration no. 4794/RAC) on the 11th November 1946.

The objectives then was to promote and enhance Syiar Islam as well as the use of Arabic Language to all.

Various educational, social and recreational activities are conducted, the core activities being promoting Arabic language. Over the years, the objectives of Al Wehdah grew from providing Islamic and Arabic Language classes into more secular subjects.

However, we have not forgotten our main focus on dakwah, and has included welfare services, such as helping the poor and needy, the disabled and the less fortunate into our annual roster of activities.
