Who We Are
From a small social club with just 56 members in 1907, the Automobile Association of Singapore (AA) has grown to become a leading motoring association in Singapore today with more than 83,000 members. We are a leader in the provision of roadside assistance services in Singapore.
The Association is a voice for motorists, serving as a bridge between the motoring public and the relevant authorities. AA members can enjoy emergency roadside assistance services as well as benefits and privileges at a myriad of motoring and lifestyle outlets both locally and worldwide.
AA is affiliated to The Federation Internationale de’l Automobile (FIA), a world federation headquartered in France. FIA represents the motoring interests of over 100 million members of 200 member associations in 120 countries. Under the umbrella of the FIA, AA members can expect the same level of motoring convenience and peace of mind wherever they drive, outside Singapore.
What We Do
AA is committed to providing motorists with protection and total peace of mind with our trusted and efficient roadside assistance services; an unsurpassed service that is valued most by AA members. Our subsidiary, AutoSwift Recovery Pte Ltd (ASR) is the first towing service provider in Singapore to harness technology in our operations and employ state-of-the-art Global Positioning System (GPS) for our auto-tracking and computer-aided despatch system for roadside assistance.
AA offers a wide range of services including insurance, road tax renewals, car batteries, sale of HDB/URA parking coupons and supplementary licence for off peak cars. AA is also the sole authorised agent to issue International Driving Permit (IDP) and Carnet de Passenges En Douane(CPD).
Besides motoring-related services, AA organises driving holidays (Autoventure™), golfing activities through the AA Golf, and a comprehensive selection of motoring and lifestyle workshops and courses to cater our members’ varied needs. Members enjoy free access to the AA Jackpot Rooms at River Valley, Leisure Park Kallang and Pearls Centre. In addition, AA provides a slew of other technical services including pre-purchase evaluation, pre-trip inspection, car valuation and scrap car services as well as offers technical and motoring-related advice to our members and the motoring public.
AA members travelling overseas also benefit from the Show Your Card & Save® (SYC&S®) programme, a partnership scheme with overseas motoring clubs for exclusive discounts on travel, dining and entertainment at thousands of locations in Europe, North America, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, Japan and South Korea.
Besides providing roadside assistance to AA members, the Association also renders similar service to corporate clients in the automobile industry such as car distributors and dealers. Our full-fledged Call Centre is also fully equipped and competent to offer support to automotive businesses in need of call centre services.
