Baking is definitely a joyful and therapeutic activity. Have you attended a baking class held by our valued lesson providers? Check out the top 10 favorite baking classes according to our participants for the month of June, in no order of merit. 1. Magic Custard Cake & Melt-in-the-Mouth German Cookies

Rich, creamy custard is always a well-deserved dessert. But how about a Magic Custard Cake? With only one batter, you will get three different layers of cake, and the splitting of layers will happen only in the oven during baking. That is quite, quite magical indeed!

Held by our lovely Blogger Chef Cheryl Lai, known to her avid followers and fans under an adorable nickname of the Baking Taitai, the class was a huge success. Our participants had lots of fun baking their own Magic Custard Cake, as well as Melt-in-the-Mouth German Cookies. 2. Patterned Swiss Rolls

Who doesn’t love the sweet and creamy filling, coated by a spongy and moist layer of cake and adorned with pretty patterns? Chef Cathy’s Patterned Swiss Rolls class has proven to be an all-time favorite, with the class held repeatedly due to popular demand.

3. Rainbow Cakes

How about baking your very own edible rainbow? Layers of colorful goodness, with each layer representing one color in the rainbow, spread evenly with a delicious layer of cream cheese frosting. Yumm.

4. Rilakkuma Macaron-making

Commonly regarded as one of the most beautiful pastries, macarons taste as good as they look. They look even better as a Rilakkuma bear!

Rachael, owner of Make n Bake, has more than 8 years of baking experience with her favorite pastry, macarons. Having conducted countless provate classes, Rachael understands that the needs of every student are different, and modifies her lessons to ensure that everyone learns as much as they can. After all, who can’t resist cute (and edible!) Rilakkuma bears?

5. Bee Mine Themed Cupcakes

What could be better than surprising your loved ones with moist chocolate cupcake, topped with a creamy frosting and an adorable bumble bee-themed fondant?

6. Chocolate Fudge Cake

A moist chocolate cake sponge, with an irresistible rich chocolate fudge frosting will simply sweep you off your feet. Chocolate Fudge cakes have always been well received by our participants, with many positive reviews and feedback.

7. Chiffon Cakes

The light yet flavorful texture of Chiffon Cakes is a delight to most of us foodies, being incredibly easy to the tummy (you will never get sick of it!).

Held by ITSI Baking Studio, this lesson allowed our participants to bake their very own Pandan and Orange Chiffon cake. They were guided to learn the right techniques to mix and bake chiffon cake, as well as how to create different flavors using the same Chiffon cake recipe. Our participants walked away with their very own Chiffon masterpiece!

8. Hand-Made Basic Buns

All of us are fascinated by the warmth and softness of freshly baked bread, but how about baking your own buns? Learn to make breads like a professional Boulanger!

Hand-Made Basic Buns is another all-time favorite of our participants and Lessons Go Where visitors. They had their try at making delicious buns such as Assorted Bread Rolls including red bean, sausage and cheese, Cranberry Cream Cheese Buns and Chelsea Rolls. Feeling hungry?

Muffins have always been a favorite for children and adults alike. Handy and chock full of flavor, they are a fuss-free and yummy delight for all.

10. Gluten-free Baking

Eat healthy, eat gluten-free! Time to clean up your dessert palate with gluten-free baked treat!

With a recent trend on eating clean, a gluten-free diet can have a variety of health benefits, such as improving cholesterol levels, promoting digestive health and increasing energy levels. You don’t have to compromise your dessert diet, with Gluten-free Cakes class! Our participants learnt how to make quinoa and brown rice crackers, pita bread, wholegrain seeded loaf, carrot cake bars and chocolate donuts with butterscotch glaze and roasted almonds.
