When approached by SAVEUR and asked why did he name his blog as such, Russell van Kraayenburg replied: “With my blog, I’m chasing this idea of that one perfect, most delicious dish but I’m also chasing the knowledge that comes with mastering recipes and techniques. I wanted my title to not only tell readers what my blog is about, but I wanted it to inspire and push me constantly.” Russell’s blog has been a finalist for SAVEUR 2013 Best Food Blog Award, and we are sure the effort he puts in deserves such recognition.

I looked down at this egg-smile thing and called Shaun from across the room to come check out my ‘happy-yolks.’ A few days later it was official.”
