The place is nice.

It's not as seen as in website. Seem like they took other people's photo. Also I think it's not Japanese Swiss Roll, especially the filling.

Satisfied to some extend..

Although the chef provided us with knowledge of the reactions of the ingredients added, and how to improve the cake and stuff, the pace was quite fast and rush for the beginners.

Starting it was interesting, then in the middle to the end, the chef had to rush us. Though I understand due to the time limit, it wasn't that enjoyable after the rush up and all.

Apart from it, there weren't enough kitchen utensils, towels and bowls for us to use.

Overall, I would say my experience of this lesson was not as enjoyable as I expected. A little disappointed though, but I appreciate the chef's teaching.

P.S if the chef could smile more during class, it would lighten up the class more.

It's was great , i meet a lot new friends in same

The Class was fine , but next time prefer to go to hands on class .

So i will learn from scratch .

Fun and Interactive

It was fun and interactive experience. The teacher was very patient and shares her experience and artworks... even provided recipe for the butter cupcake and frosting. To do 6 figurines within 5 hours is good but long. Luckily, someone brought snacks and the Lab provided drinks (tea, coffee, milo) were provided... so make sure for future lessons do provide some snacks as well. Overall, i really enjoyed myself and I hope future lessons will include other figurines.

Incredibly Delish Smoked Salmon and Pulled Pork!

Awesome experience learning to smoke meats. I never thought it was possible to smoke my own meats, but Chef Jimmy's technique for the smoked chicken and salmon was delicious not difficult at all. I can't emphasize enough how delicious the smoked salmon was! The facilities were great and us participants didn't need to do any washing up at all. Free coffee and tea, plus the great pork shoulder (Chef Jimmy smoked it for 9 hours for us!) served at the end of the class just made it even better. Only small small negative was that the kitchen ran out of apple vinegar and some of the participants had to use white vinegar for their barbeque sauces. But overall, an excellent experience!
