1 on 1 Home Baking Lesson Terms & Conditions

    1.Prices are quoted in Singapore Dollar (SGD). All prices are net, inclusive of Goods & Services Tax (GST), unless stated otherwise.

    2.Baker is aware that seats are limited and it’s arranged base on First Come first Basis.

    3.Ingredients will be prepared by The Bubbly Chef by Mimi Wahadi.

    4.Baker will be given a copy of printed recipe. Additional request of recipes are chargeable at $10 nett subject to Chef’s permission/approval due to copyright issue, Chef has the final right to make the final decision.

    5.Private Home Baking Lesson will be conducted at the stipulated time, e.g. 10-1pm or 3-6pm.

    6.The Bubbly Chef by Mimi Wahadi Pte Ltd trusts their baker to be able to remember the lesson without require us to send a reminder. Hence, baker is aware that no reminder in term of Email, SMS, Call or any other mode of communications.

    7.Private Home Baking Tuition is non-cancellable or non-refundable, any cancellation due to Chef availability will be rescheduled.

    8.In the event you are not feeling well for the Private Home Baking Tuition, Baker needs to inform TBCBMW team 4 hours prior the class. Private Home Baking Tuition will be recheduled within 2 weeks from the date of cancellation. Failure to do, baker is liable to bear all unecessary cost such transportation and ingredients cost (for those who request it to be prepared).

    9.Fullest commitment and attention motivates and yield handsome result.

    10.You are aware that The Bubbly Chef by Mimi Wahadi Pte Ltd make no guarantees that you will achieve any results or make any money, and we make no professional, legal, therapeutic or financial advice in this One on One Private Home Baking Lesson.

    11.You are aware that one session of Private Home Baking Tuition does not guarantee you will do well, get any results or earn any money using our information, nor it represents your product is perfect. Your level of success dependent upon a number of factors including your skill, knowledge, ability, dedication, personality, market, partner and stc. A successful product or business come from continuos effort, determination and never give up attitude.

Q: Are the lessons real? Will I get scammed if I book classes on LGW?
A: The lessons are definitely real. All lessons are uploaded and checked by a team of hardworking elves (the founders of LGW) who work tirelessly and through late nights to ensure that the details are accurate. All lesson providers are also contracted with LGW to provide the lessons. We back our lessons up with a 100% Refund Policy. In the scenario that a lesson is cancelled, we GUARANTEE that we will refund you 100% of the fess paid. The security of our customers is our number 1 priority. Q: Why do I need to pay immediately?
A: We require that you pay for the lesson in full before you are issued an email confirmation of your booking for the lessons. There will be costs incurred by the instructor before the lesson commences, and your payment not only immediately confirms your booking, but will enable us to pay the lesson provider immediately!

Q: Why should I book and pay for my lessons on LessonsGoWhere.com.sg?
A: In cases of disagreement between you and the lesson provider, LGW will have a copy of your booking details logged with us and can also withhold payment from the lesson provider. Your booking details will be helpful should any disputes arise in terms of bookings and payments. Also, with the wide variety of lessons on LGW, you can immediate compare and choose your choice of classes at your convenience! You can also contribute to the community by reviewing the classes and lessons you've attended, earning you Reward Points, and also helping potential students make better choices and their reviews will benefit you too!

Q: What happens after I've made payment?
A: Once you've confirmed payment for the lessons of your choice, you will receive an email confirmation from us, letting you know the date, time and location of the lesson. On the day itself, simply present the email confirmation to the lesson provider and you will be able to attend the lesson!

Q: What happens if I cannot attend the lesson?
A: In the case that after you have booked your lesson, but are unable to attend, let us know immediately. Email us at info@lessonsgowhere.com.sg. We will try our best to transfer your booking to another time, or if you prefer, to a friend. While we cannot refund your payment if you are unable to attend, let us know and we will try out best to accommodate you!

Q: What if the lesson provider asks for more money when I arrive?
A: The pricing information for each lesson is clearly stated on each listing and will also note what is or is not included. If you encounter a lesson provider who asks for more money on top of the payment you have already made to us, please contact us immediately at info@lessonsgowhere.com.sg and we will try our best to rectify the situation.

Q: Do the fees include equipment and location rentals (if necessary)?
A: While some lesson providers will include equipment and facility bookings with the fee, others might not. Don't worry though, the pricing information is clearly stated on each listing and will also note what is or is not included. If you are still in doubt after checking the listing, you can email us at info@lessonsgowhere.com.sg and we will clarify the issue for you.

Q: What happens if I pay for a lesson and the lesson provider cancels or doesn't respond?
A: Don't worry! If the lesson is cancelled or if you are unable to get a response from the lesson provider, email us at info@lessonsgowhere.com.sg and we will refund you 100% of the fees you paid.

Q: My friend/girlfriend/boyfriend/family member wishes to attend the lesson as well, can I book for them too?
A: Yes! Learning is always an experience best shared. It's also a great activity to bond over! If you have others who are interested in attending the lesson as well, simply book the appropriate number of slots for the lesson and they can accompany you. Book fast though! Most lessons only have a limited number of slots available and if you aren't fast enough, you might not be able to secure the slots for them!

Q: Should I leave a review after I've attended the lesson?
A: Definitely! Not only do other students benefit from your review of the lesson, you will also receive Reward Points for your review! You can use those Reward Points as a discount off your future lessons too! Everyone benefits!

MIMI WAHADI

Why do we order dessert even when we’re already full? What is it that makes a dessert desirable? It’s that lure to all things sweet, warm and cool at the same time, and to make decadent works of art that Chef Mimi Wahadi first forayed into the world of pastry and dessert-making.

Chef Mimi found her passion for bakery & dessert-making early in her schooling years. Determined to pursue her passion and perfect the craft after achieving a Diploma in Pastry & Baking at SHATEC, she went on to intern with some of the world’s most celebrated culinary legends, including Chef Tetsuya Wakuda at his renowned Sydney’s Tetsuya restaurant; with Chef Paul Bocuse at L’Auberge Du Pont de Collonges, in Lyon, France; and Chef Tom Aikens in London.

After returning back to Singapore in 2001, Chef Mimi quickly worked and climbed up the culinary ranks among noted dining establishments and hotels including Au Jardin Les Amis, Riciotti Pastry & Deli, One15 Marina Club, Swissotel Merchant Court , and Goodwood Park Hotel.

Her first stance as Pastry Head Chef was with 1-Rochester Group, where she helmed the Pastry Team as Pastry Chef, providing creative directions for all desserts and pastries served at the group’s multi- awarded establishments, One Rochester and 1-TwentySix; and also at the renownedpatisserie, 1-Caramel.Her ingenious creations at 1-Caramel, notably received many rave reviews from clients and the media alike in both local & international newspaper and magazines! Her very first e-book was launch May 2017.

Following that, Chef Mimi joined renowned Far East Organization as Executive Sous Chef, where she also served as Group Pastry Chef for KLPL. There, Chef Mimi played integral roles in cultivating and managing the Pastry Teams at Ochre Italian Restaurant, Village Hotel Katong and Dean & Deluca’s first flagship store in Singapore. Chef Mimi was the Halal Chairman for Kitchen Language by Far East Organization Group; her knowledge in halal has facilitate the opening of Halal Restaurant and Cafes under the F & B arm of the group.

Chef Mimi spends her free time surfing the net & reading pastry books for recipes, often improvising these for new tantalizing creations; besides baking, she loves to cook and experiment new dishes for family and friends. She also loves to travel to find new inspirations for her creations.

Chef Mimi currently ventured into Education which include teaching and consulting on a free lance basis.

Nicknamed "The Bubbly Chef" by her peers, customers and friends, Chef Mimi Wahadi knows pastries and desserts inside out. While most people think that baking is a science, Chef Mimi aims to debunk the myth that baking hard and unattainable.
