Absolute Fencing (ABF) was founded in 2006, and is led by top Singaporean fencers. We have grown significantly over the past five years to become one of Singapore’s leading clubs. We started from a mere membership of four, to over a hundred passionate fencers across all age groups. Our philosophy is that even ordinary people can become champions.

Many of our fencers have also grown to become the top fencers in the nation, representing Singapore at numerous regional and international competitions over the years and bringing medals home for our country. This is an incredible accomplishment, considering that just five years ago, many of them had not even touched their first blade.

We firmly believe that a sportsman is nothing without sportsmanship. Which is why our coaches go beyond imparting only fencing skills to our fencers. We also inculcate core moral values such as discipline, respect, and fortitude through our training programs.

The secret to our success is a very close-knit relationship that our members share, akin to a second family for our members. Our fencers always warmly welcome our new members into the family and help them along the way until they have settled in comfortably. Team spirit and unity are extremely important to us here at Absolute Fencing and we strive to instill them in all our students. This can make all the difference between winning and losing in a competition as team support for each and every athlete is equally important as his own skills and determination in a competition.
